FRIDAY JUNE 2, 2006

 

a.      Traveling Wall Memorial will commence at 1:00 p.m. at Noble Park across from J. Craig Smith Community Center.  Presentation of flags.  Gold Star Wives & Mothers will lay wreath.

b.     Convention registration at J. Craig Community Center from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

c.     Hospitality room will be open from 6:00 p.m. until ?.

d.     Tours available to Blue Bell Ice Cream plant, Sylacauga Museum & other points of interest.

 

SATURDAY JUNE 3, 2006

 

a.                  President’s breakfast will commence at 8:00 a.m. at Ryan’s across from Jameson Inn.

b.                 Chapter 945 will Post Colors at 8:50 a.m. at J. Craig Community Center.

c.                 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. various speakers will address members of VVA, AVVA.

d.                 State Finance Committee will meet at 10:00a.m. At J. Craig Community Center.

e.                  State elections commence at 11:00 a.m. at J. Craig Community Center.

f.                   Chapter 945 will host a pick nick at Noble Park, where the Traveling Wall will be set up, with eats and live entertainment.

g.                 The banquette with special guest will start at 5:30 p.m.

           This is a tentative agenda of the activities for June 2 & 3rd convention.
